       Over past 18 years, mechanic Sam Kuo and his sizable shop have gained a reputation for honest, professional service for all types of automotive repairs and maintenance. In particular, the foreign-trained Kuo has been a godsend for foreign residents, as he is able to explain car problems in fluent English. Now, his business is in the process of moving, from the old location at 222, Chungming Road to an all-new location in Peitun district, about a kilometer from Morrison Academy. The attractive, bright blue building is located about 20 meters the intersection of the Mei Chuan Canal and Dalian Road, right next to the popular Greater Taichung Swimming Pool. Here, he and his team of mechanics will continue providing their services, which cover everything from ordinary local sedans to the latest exotic imports and include every category of car work—engines, suspensions, body work, tires and so on. Sam will also rent tools and space to customers who want to do their own car maintenance and the shop sells parts for tune-ups, modifications and racing.
