The evening before the romantic evening, I would set my alarm clock to 7:30am. Then, as I awake to the alarm, I would reach over to the telephone and call my sweetie.  I'd tell her how much I love her and remind her of the special evening planned ahead.

During the afternoon, I would email her an e-card telling her how special she is in my life.

On my way home from work I buy a dozen red roses and then go home and prepare for the evening. I pick her up in my impressive scooter with one red rose in hand (the rest of the roses are in the fridge to be de-petaled later).  I present her with the rose and a soft kiss and ask her to sit on the scooter while I blindfold her. She plays along and soon we are off to our favorite restaurant Fatty's.

Upon arrival, I park and untie the blindfold. She is pleasantly surprised and we enter and then dine together while staring intimately into each other¡¦s eyes.

Afterwards, we are so full that we decide to talk a moonlit walk through Feng Le Art park, (off of Wenshin S. 3rd Road). We walk towards the man-made lake, then put together the lantern we made the previous evening, light it and watch it float up to the heavens.  Attached to the lantern is a note declaring our love.  We watch the lantern lying on the grass holding each other tightly until it can no longer be seen.

Josh Richards (Winner of a dinner for two at T.G.I. Friday¡¦s)
