Hirota
has been in operation in Taiwan for over 15
years now. It's a bright store on Tien Mou
East Road familiar to local residents and frequent
visitors to the Tien Mou area. Hirota was originally
a famous dessert chain store in Japan. To this
day, the majority of the cake makers at Hirota
are still Japanese. Hirota's cake making master,
Lin Liang Chen, is responsible for making cakes
at Hirota, and he was also one of the first
cake making experts who was sent over to Taiwan
by Hirota's Japan headquarters. All of his
cakes, especially his cheese cakes, are a treat
to have for all occasions. Reasonably priced
at NT$50 per slice, Hirota's cheese cakes have
a slight lemony taste to it, as a hint of lemon
juice is added during the cake making process.
Hirota's cheese cake is very soft in texture,
and has a very thin crust. This is a cheese
cake for those who enjoy their cakes a little
bit sweeter, and without a strong cheese tastes.
Hirota's cakes have a light cheese taste and
will certainly live up to your expectations
of a high quality Japanese style cheese cake. |
