¡§Bucciarati¡¨ is named after the
lead character in the owner¡¦s favorite Japanese action manga,
¡§JoJo's Bizarre Adventure¡¨. Among racks of books, magazines,
comics and novels, an astonishing collection of 2300 CDs catches
the eye. Once a pub DJ, the owner enriches the cafe with all
kinds of music including rock¡¦n¡¦roll, jazz, dance, or alternative
music. The cafe offers free Internet connections and notebooks
can be easily hooked up though the LAN setup in each seat.
Bucciarati insists on providing only gourmet coffee, drinks,
and simple desserts, and no meals. Espresso (NT$70), cappuccino
(large NT$90, small NT$80), and latte (large NT$95, small
NT$85) go well with handmade cookies, cheesecakes (NT$50)
or smoked cheese (NT$70). For non-coffee drinkers, there are
herbal and fruit teas. --By Josephine Lin
