Music House was created by a group of young music and culture
lovers, who hoped this establishment would attract others
with similar tastes. In addition to a monthly exhibition and
free monthly lectures on world music topics, there is a small
basement theater that offers impromptu dance and drama performances.
The music house mostly plays world music in the daytime and
a broader variety in the evening. It is quite common for customers
to ask that their own CDs be played at the shop. This is a
place where art and music bring people together across national
boundaries. One specialty is the unforgettably-strong and
fragrant Italian coffee, made with a secret recipe. Another
house specialty dessert that should be tried is Daniel's Icelandic
Pancake. During the afternoon teatime, customers can order
a drink and a this dessert for only NT$150. Thanks to Michang
Music House's very artistic atmosphere, chances are that you
might become regular customers just like many other people.--By
