A favorite thing to do in Tamshui is enjoying a good cup of coffee while watching the sun set on the Tamshui River and surrounding hills. Bay Watch provides all of the above. It is decorated in wood with extensive use of glass to create a bright, spacious setting. Foreign posters add to the simple, yet international, feeling of the place. The food menu features Chekiang-style dishes including the two most popular items--pork ribs and "three cups" chicken (san bei ji ¤TªMÂû) made with sesame seed oil. The beverage menu includes coffees such as latte, as well as milk teas and other selections. There is no afternoon tea special yet, but there is a 30-percent discount on cake when ordered with coffee or tea.
