Coffee is treated as more than a drink at Cafe Musee. According
to the owner, it is the goal of this establishment to make
unbelievably-good coffee.
However, there is more than coffee here, as it is also a
gallery featuring photography, painting and other art exhibitions.
For example, Cafe Musee recently held a pressed flower artwork
exhibition, with works from Taichung and students of the Taiwan
University of Art. ¡§There are many painters living
in Tamshui, and we hope to have more interaction with them.
That is the meaning behind the name 'Musee', ¡¨
says the owner.
Other than good coffees and paintings, customers will want
to try the Californian baked chicken, covered in specially
made barbecue sauce, or the tangy chicken filet marinated
in a ginger sauce. Herbal teas such as wild rose and chamomile
are also available.--By Yiu Wen-ying
