In Paris, dogs are everywhere, including the subway, coffee
shops and restaurants. However, in Taipei, it is not so easy
for dog owners to bring their pets along with them. That is
not a problem at Goods Coffee. Outside, a sign welcomes dogs.
The owner's labradors, Angus and Gumei, welcome all two-legged
and four-legged visitors. The young owner is happy to chat
with customers and his favorite subject, of course, is dogs.
He says the biggest problem with allowing dogs in his coffee
shop is that they look to chew on the wooden table legs, which
have plenty of bite marks to prove his point. The decor of
Goods Coffee is simple and fashionable and the owner takes
special care to keep the surroundings very clean. In addition
to coffee, Goods sells products and books related to dogs
and provides help to those searching for lost pets. The owner
likes to put up pictures of his four-legged guests. So, if
you are looking for a place to enjoy a cup of coffee and the
company of your pet, come to Goods.--By Cindy Lee
