Critical Point Theater has been around for over a decade. Its rehearsal area on MinLe Street has been renovated and is now being presented to the public in a new form. This new cultural space, named after Critical Point's classic Taiwanese small theater work, incorporates a small theater, café, and bar. It not only enhances the functionality of the original theater but also brings it closer to the community. It ties in well with the nearby Puppet Museum and Folk Theater Park. Urban Gallery includes the People Happy Bar on the 2nd floor, and Living Theater on the 3rd floor. Preserving the sentimental feel of the old building, the décor evokes fluid flow lines. Minimalist, with unlimited possibilities, is why artists, scholars and especially thespians love to linger here. Performances are scheduled every weekend. Besides being an arena for Critical Point Theater members, other theater groups are also welcome to use this place.--By Ken Lin
