King Stone Bookstore's Da-An Branch reopens with the introduction of "My Study," a novel space for Eastern culture designed by interior decorator Shao Chung-tao. Intended to make customers feel at home, the bookstore provides a wide variety of literary information. The plan is to make the bookstore a major community cultural center by bringing community resources together and working with high schools, colleges, and libraries in the area as well as the community to sponsor parent-child seminars, music appreciation, and other events. The second floor is a multifunctional space with a magazine display and "Five Four Three Music Hall" that offers rare music related products as well as series of small, unplugged concerts. (For details, see http://music543.com). In the corner, the "My Study Café" offers simple snacks and beverages and a place for customers to rest. --By Selena Huang
