      Artists have long been attracted to Wenshan's great scenery, and this part of Taipei has grown tremendously since the MRT began operating. Wenshan's cultural activities are not yet well know, but one artist--Wei-Der Kung, who is proud of his hands-on approach to creating--has brought into being a new exhibition arena near National Chengchi University. He has invited friends with similar artistic ideals to participate. The Third Floor Onion art gallery embodies the unique characteristics of Wenshan, and deserves praise for the union of the region's artists and the intellectual edge of the university, which has resulted in a formidable new artistic space. -- By Ken Lin
