Nang Kong, also known as Tea Mountain, is famous for its
crops of Pau Zhon Tea. At the end of July, the Nang Kong Tea
Museum was opened in the area to educate visitors on the local
tea industry from harvest through tasting. Visitors can experience
tea processing equipment and different varieties of tea plants.
An exhibit, "Lost Gold - The Beauty of Taiwan Tea",
displays tools associated with tea from the Ching Dynasty
and continues until September 26th. Take the MRT Brown Line
to Kung Young Station and transfer by Small Bus #5 to the
Museum.--By Selena Huang
