"The Superior Collection" is one of the finest Shaburi hot pot (or shabu shabu) selections available in Taipei. Pots come with choices like seasonal seafood and imported beef from the U.S., Australia, Japan and Taiwan. A popular new pot series, the "Akaushi Breed" series includes their exclusive Matsusaka beef, black angus, Australia's 9+ grade beef, as well as three superior quality crab varieties: King Crab, Snow Crab and Hair Crab. All of this comes in a luxurious seafood set meal for two (NT$2,680-3,980)--the most popular choice among patrons to date. --By Josie Wu, translated by Ann Lee

A. (Left): The Rib Eye Plate (NT$2,880) uses juicy, quality meat; you'll want to taste it the moment you see it. (Right): Try their fresh seafood, cooked right on the spot with critters acquired daily at Yilan's Daxi Fish Port; they also use live seafood from Japan.

B. Don't be surprised by this towering plate of Taiwan Beef (NT$790). The local meat's intense, fresh flavor is something that most imported meats lack. Quite popular with customers, it's only served a limited number of times per day.
