Western Pavilion Fried Pork Steak Restaurant, which has a 30-year history in Japan, has brought its authentic Nagasaki flavor to Taipei. Mr. Stuluda, a master chef from Japan, has come over to oversee the preparation of dishes, including Fried Pork Steak, Kele Rolls, and Fried Prawns And Beef Curry. Western Pavilion's Fried Pork Steaks offer a choice of two different cuts, and come in 120, 160 and 200-gram measures. The meat is tender and crisp, and best eaten with a dip of the restaurant's special Demigras sauce, which is made up of more than 20 spices, soy sauce and freshly ground sesame. Another unique dish is Western Pavilion's Cheese Balls. Thin pork slices are wrapped around cheese, bacon, purple perilla, minced beef, dipped in batter and fried. Each mouthful gives four tasty flavors. --By Josie Wu
