Already established for 30 years, GYMBOREE is an American educational institution that encourages children under 5 to participate in all kinds of activities, as well as teaches them how to play together. Since the group started a school in Taichung two years ago, they have established a great amount of rapport with the local community and have attracted more curious and excited parents, eager to inquire about what they have to offer.

With the birth rate declining, all-round less family time, and not enough space for simple leisure activities, GYMBOREE offers a curriculum that fulfills the needs of children and parents. From ages 0 to 3, kids are at their peak for developing senses. This place offers things like music and art classes taught by professional early childhood educators that expose children to all kinds of visual and audio lessons, as well as fun games to help with their muscle development. These classes help youngsters develop their learning ability, balance, communication/language skills, simple ethics, as well as logical thinking and problem solving. Surprisingly enough, the ones that you see having the most fun in class are the parents who come along for the lesson.

At GYMBOREE, one lesson lasts 45 minutes and costs NT$850. A special, six-month long, 24-class curriculum is offered for a special rate of NT$18,000. They welcome parents to come along for a trial class with toddlers under 5.
