       Lular Spa is a the latest cooperative venture between the Howard hotel group and the Very Young Spa chain, which has about 10 outlets islandwide including the Howard Resort in Kenting. Located in the basement of Taichung's Howard Prince Hotel, this Southeast Asian-style spa has two twin spa treatment rooms, which are nice options for couples, and two single rooms. Low lighting and tropical decor give the rooms a dreamy, relaxing feeling and the professional staff, dressed appropriately in flowered dresses and shirts, provide massage and other therapies. Other facilities include sauna/steam room and an area that sells Very Young Spa's all-natural, plant-derived products. A standard, full-treatment, 180-minute session costs NT$5,500, or a 10-session book of vouchers may be purchased for NT$26,000. The spa is open to both hotel guests and members of the public, who should call for reservations.
