With a fuller dining menu than most local Vietnamese eateries, this restaurant was opened by northern Vietnam native Ms. Duan, whose broad culinary knowledge was learned from her parents' restaurant in Vietnam. Besides all kinds of pho noodle and vermicelli dishes topped with raw beef slices, brisket, stewed beef, and Hanoi grilled meat (NT$130), this stylish, cozy establishment's a la carte options include Guishanghuang Chicken, Royal Pork (NT$238) and Green Papaya Salad. There are many combo meals for two people and families. The Beef Pho broth is made with beef bones and natural spices and cooked for at least 20 hours, with added fresh onion slices providing a refreshing flavor. The appetizing, sweet-and-sour Grilled Beef Meatballs, marinated with salt and pepper and grilled at low heat, pairs perfectly with cucumbers, radish slices, mint and fish sauce. Crunchy, deep-fried spring rolls are stuffed with ground meat, fungus ear, onions and other delicious ingredients, and served with flavorful fish sauce. --By Uvia Chang, translated by Anna Yang
