An American native of Wisconsin, Alex Wagner has built on the success of his original Zhongxiao Night Market pizza stand by opening this second outlet closer to downtown Taichung. Customers love his big, floppy, thin-in-the-middle, 20-inch New York-style pizzas, sold by the slice (NT$49) or whole (NT$400). Following a no-frills approach to pizza, the latest Slice N Dice operates out of a roadside stand and storefront in a small night market just off XiangShang Road, next to the Xiangshang Traditional Market. Most customers do take-out, but there are simple inside tables and stools for sit-down diners.

Alex, who learned his pizza-making skills during high school and college, hand-tosses his pizzas.

About six pizza flavors such as pictured Vegetable and Pepperoni are offered daily out of a total of 15 varieties, with popular options including Mexican Chicken, Hawaiian, and Double Cheese.
