Pickled Cabbage and Pork Soup, which uses naturally fermented cabbage and smooth-texture pork, along with their exclusive paste and diced leeks. It is a perfect choice for winter and great for staying warm.

Moment in Peking, right on the corner of WuQuan, is a place where you can savor northern Chinese delicacies in a nostalgic environment. Its distinctive architectural design, which includes gray roof tiles and a huge, mansion courtyard, resembles a restaurant in old Beijing and takes guests back to the northern Chinese literati era. While visiting Moment in Peking, won't just revel in history, but you can also relax and hangout with friends over great cuisine.

With its antique furniture, lanterns painted by ink-and-water master Ke-Yao-tung, old photographs, poetry, books, and display of embroidered clothes from the Qing dynasty—the restaurant truly takes patrons on a tour through nostalgic days while serving-up traditional delicacies.

All the dining areas are separated by classic, woodcarving shields, which leave a little room for privacy amongst different groups of diners. This scene reflects a reunion for friends and family in the ancient days of China. Duck with Walnuts Pastry is specially selected duck-breast meat stuffed with walnuts and Chinese water chestnuts. It is first steamed then baked with slow heat and is accompanied by cucumbers, sweet flour paste and round flat cake. It is a unique flavor that cannot be missed. Traditional Stewed Pork is handpicked streaky pork cooked with red yeast and Shaoxing liquor for five hours until the meat gets tender. Then it is turned down to low heat and cooked for another three hours. This stewed pork dish has a lot of fat nutrients but is not greasy. The fresh, tender meat will satisfy your greediest appetite.

Spicy Pickled Cabbage is a favorite dish for the summer. Its crispy and invigorating texture is sensational for hot, humid days. Translucent Aloe Vera with Refined Osmanthus Paste is a cool dish and a favorite among women. Sweet Pig's Knuckle with Soy Sauce, Duck with Walnuts Pastry , and Spicy Minced Shrimp Stuffed in Deep-fried Dough sticks are all authentic northern Chinese delicacies that you will enjoy. Green Bean Sticky Rice Paste is sticky rice and water mixed then added with green bean stuffing. After being steamed, it is sprinkled with sweet osmanthus paste and wrapped with peanut powder. It carries a slight glutinous rice and floral aroma—don't let this slip through your fingers!

The specialty at Moment in Peking is delicate pastries, including the famous imperial snacks Pea Flour Cake. A highly recommended dish is the Sweet Osmanthus Cake, which is soft and refreshing, sweet but not greasy, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture—It is a best seller that you must try. When you arrive at Moment in Peking, you are greeted by either a woman wearing a modest cheongsam or a gentle and polite man staff member. You might be a little stunned by their outfits or manners, but their professional service will guarantee a fine dining experience any time throughout your visit.
