This veteran establishment, featuring classic interior decor and warm lights, still stands tall and prominent along TaiZhongGong Road after about 30 years of existence. Although the years have seen waves of various theme restaurants come and go, Boston has held firmly to its basic focus on serving its customers traditional Western cuisine with spacious and comfortable seating, live piano music (7 to 10 p.m.) and hospitable service. Customers craving older-style restaurants that play classic music can feed their nostalgia here with sights and sensations from an earlier era.

Besides traditional Western fare, barbecue dishes are also included on the menu. Carefully selected meat from Europe, America, New Zealand and Australia is prepared on scorching-hot rock slabs that help maintain the meat's savory flavors.
U.S Sirloin Steak (NT$860, 10 ounces) is the top choice among regular customers because of its high-quality beef and evenly-distributed, nicely-marbled fat. The chef highly also recommends Boston Fillet Tenderloin Steak (NT$590) and Ireland Stewed Lamb Shanks (NT$490). All main courses come with appetizers, salad, soup, bread, desserts and drinks (tea, coffee or juice).

The restaurant also makes its own cakes and provides 24-hour delivery of these baked goods to customers with a sweet tooth. From exquisite Western cuisine and tasty pastries to a simple cup of strong, fragrant coffee, Boston continues meeting the needs of Taichung diners as it has for decades.
