Originating in Mongolia, the hot pot soup base here is prepared from over 60 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines and natural ingredients. This is why Japanese customers who have tasted this hot pot decided to open a branch in Tokyo. No sauces are necessary; the food absorbs the goodness of the soup base to provide a great taste of seasonal ingredients. All ingredients are carefully selected from unpolluted organic farms in Nantou and Shengang. Also available are the handmade Golden Thread Love Cakes (NT$120), which reportedly only two people in the world still know how to make. These traditional cakes--much loved as snacks by the Qing dynasty imperial family--are fragrant and crispy with a delicate taste that keeps customers returning for more. Also available is the sweet and refreshing handmade Lemongrass Jelly. The two-person Healthy Royal Deluxe Set Meal is between NT$900 and NT$1,200. The average dining bill here is NT$400 to NT$500 per person.
