YANG YANG HEALTHY VEGETARIAN
148, Dong Xing Road, Sec. 3
|
--By Uvia Chang, translated by Cara Steenstra
Located on DongXing Road, where Mei
Nong Hakka Restaurant used to be, is a new Japanese vegetarian
restaurant. With over 20 years of experience, the chef has
closely studyied vegetarian cuisine for a long time. Not only
is a great deal of attention paid to create healthy and delicious
dishes, but beans and processed foods are also avoided to
create more "delicate" food. Soup bases are made
from fresh fruits and vegetables, plus some more rarely seen
ingredients such as organic mushrooms, deep sea konbu, cheese
natto, and whey. By making use of different, interesting ingredients,
a variety of noodles, hot pot selections, appetizers, sushi
and kaiseki set menus are created. There are three prices
for set menus: NT$250, NT$350, NT$450. Set menus include 10
courses, with a hot plate, fried vegetables, sashimi, tempura,
soup, rice, baked fruit, dessert and so on. Each course is
delightful on its on, making this vegetarian experience more
fun and delicious than the usual fare, so that even non-vegetarians
should fall in love with the food here. This month, bring
this article to the restaurant and enjoy a 10 percent discount!
