If you think that all hot pot restaurants are about the same, you are in for a surprise at Ho Ji Dung Shr Li Chao Shou.  This restaurant is actually most well-known for its Hakka-sytle beef dishes.  But, its hot pot is also popular with customers.  Currently, this restaurant features a surf and turf hot pot, Kobe steak hot pot, beef hot pot, seafood hot pot, lamb hot pot and Kimchee hot pot.  Only the finest sirloin or kobe beef is used, and the lamb is extremely tender.  In addition, the seafood hot pot includes salmon, spearfish, oysters, clams and shrimp.  The Kimchee and other ingredients for the Kimchee hot pot are imported from Korea by the restaurant¡Zè>¦Zà>s owner.The hot pot dipping sauce is also delicious, made up of a unique blend of spices.  In addition to hot pot, Ho Ji Dung Shr Li Chao Shou serves grilled lamb and steak, as well as steak tartar.  Expect to pay a little more than you would at other hot pot restaurants, about NT$250-650, but it is well worth it.  Go with a group of people to share the cost.The flagship restaurant is located across the street at 166-21, Sec. 3, Hsi Tun Rd.; Tel: 2461-2312, and serves Hakka cuisine.
