Ta Pu is a bright, well-lit spot ideally located on the corner of Kung Yi and Chung Ming South roads, where it does a good business 24 hours a day.  The teppanyaki takes up half of the restaurant, the other half being a hot pot place (on the right side).

Prices are very reasonable as diners select their main ingredient, usually a meat, and get vegetables and other side items thrown in with the price.  Chicken and beef are NT$90, lamb and pork are NT$80 and a beef fillet is NT$150.  Rice is NT$10 a bowl, Taiwan Beer is NT$40 and sodas are NT$20.
