Marble floors combined with a
high ceiling speak of over 30 years of history. A small calotte
in a traditional Taiwanese layout conveys the beauty of time.
In modern yet comfortable surroundings, the antique hickory
cabinets, the long marble counter, the tea tins that line
the entire wall, and the handmade silk chandelier from Venice,
all tell of a beautiful story when the West met with the East
decades ago. Wang De Chuan Tea House insists on using freshly
picked dew-absorbed tealeaves, and specifying different fermentation
processes for various teas, to fully release their flavor
and aroma. All teas in the Tea House, including some from
age-old tea gardens in Yun Nan, are clearly labeled and priced
for the tea-tasting enjoyment of everyone and connoisseurs
alike.
