Page One

Taipei 101 Mall, 4F
(02) 8101-8282

Taiwan's largest bookstore Page One fills an area of 720 pings on the fourth floor of Taipei 101 Mall. It has 350,000 books, half of them in English, arranged by international category rules. Page One focused on arts and design when it first opened in Singapore in 1983. It has 10 branches in Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan. Page One aims to synchronize with the world. Its English books hit the shelves at the same time at those published in New York and London, and all orders will be delivered within one week. The design blends traditional Chinese Shan-Shwei with modern designs, and is decorated with Asia Cafe, a Japanese stationery area, Australian and Italian glass wares, and handicrafts from Vietnam, Tibet and Turkey.
