Wang De Chuan Fine Chinese Tea is striving to promote "New Tea Culture." Their latest outlet, located in the Grand Formosa Regent Hotel, offers the four major categories--green, verdant, red, and black--of Chinese tea (NT$180 to NT$280 per pot), from the light and tangy "Bilochun" to the natural honey fragrance of "White Oolong," and the embodiment of red tea, "Jinshuan Fongching." There are more than 20 specially selected Chinese teas from China and Taiwan. Those new to tea tasting will appreciate Wang De Chuan Fine Chinese Tea's carefully designed menu, which contains detailed information on roasting, production site, and overall flavor. In addition to the hot beverages, there's also the unique "De Chuan Cold Brew Tea" and the rich "Flavored Chinese Milk Tea". Enjoy a cup of refreshing tea in delicate porcelain ware with tea snacks (NT$150) baked by Grand Formosa Regent pastry chefs. The joining of Wang De Chuan Fine Chinese Tea with the Grand Formosa Regent should bestow a new look and interest in Chinese tea, by providing quality beverage with carefully prepared snacks. --By Josie Wu, translated by Yvonne Chen.
