Unlike most younger, trendier places that have opened around town lately, Parlor 161 Dining and Lounge sets itself apart with its high-class European lounge-style ambiance. The name itself suggests that it is a class above the rest. Fine organza partition curtains, dim lighting and carefully designed interior decor all help create a laid-back, slightly mysterious atmosphere. Light upbeat music can be enjoyed before 10 p.m.; between 10 and 11 p.m. there is mainly jazz music, followed by lounge music between 11 and midnight. Different music during different hours gives customers an all-new sensation. This place serves up Western fusion cuisine. Apart from various red and white wines, champagne and liquor, there are also many kinds of tasty, Western-style appetizers. Seafood Salad in Thai Style is a fragrant dish filled with the aroma of lemongrass. Deep Fried Fish Fillet in Japanese Style is sweet, delicious fish cooked with mustard-flavored oil. Orange Sauce with Duck Meat features smoked duck in a refreshingly-tasty orange sauce. Their Fresh Clam with Sicilian Sauce, and Beef Meatballs with Mustard and Onion are also very popular entrees.

Alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited for those under 18.
