A. Within 100 meters of the former Taichung City Hall, the 10-floor hotel building was built on the site of the decades-old Apollo Hotel, where the first man on the moon, U.S. astronaut Neil Armstrong, stayed during a visit to Taichung on Dec. 28, 1969.

B. The hotel's spacious rooms range from the pictured Deluxe Double (currently NT$2,380, add NT$400 Fri./Sat.) with a king-size bed, 37-inch flat-screen TV and other amenities, to the four-person Deluxe Family Room (currently NT$3,280 + NT$400 Fri./Sat.) with two queen-size beds.
