Opened in late 2006, Banana Bay hotel is more than meets the eye. One would not expect to find such a luxurious hotel sitting at the mouth of Banana Bay's small fishing harbor, and yet here it is. There are six double (NT$3,800/night) and two twin-double rooms (NT$5,600/night), and all are elegantly decorated. Every room has a large bath, bamboo screens, cable TV, and large windows looking out onto the ocean. They serve a continental breakfast. The dining patio also overlooks the harbor and Internet access is available for guests. Discounts are available for holidays and weekends and one can call Amy (the manager) for more information. Families are also welcome, and those interested in scuba diving will be happy to hear that one can do so from this harbor.
