       If you've got the urge to design your own unique holiday trimmings, stop by the Top Shop. This single level "Mom & Pop shop" is crammed floor to ceiling with assorted oddments that will add a distinctive touch to Christmas parties, at-home decorating or gift giving. Feather birds, rattan stars, hand made ornaments, dried flowers and fruits, baskets, beads and a boatload of sea shells imported from China, the Philippines or Malaysia are just some of the treasures you'll stumble upon. These and myriad other items heaped on shelves and in sales bins can be used in table centerpieces, wall hangings and accessories. Top Shop also carries bolts of colorful papers and skeins of ribbon and raffia for elegant wrapping. Prices are reasonable - many items are sold in bulk for greater savings. The staff happily offers suggestions if you're stumped for project ideas, plus finished samples are on display to get your creative juices flowing.
