VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
Duggar Parrish,
long time Kenting resident and local boy from Oahu, has opened a
fun beachside shop with LOTS of Aloha. It's known as Duggar Hawaii,
but Duggar explains the Mandarin translation ("Hawaii's Pig
Brother") is definitely more interesting. That name is a spin
on Taiwanese; it means whenever a guy sees a sexy "wahine"
("woman" in Hawaiian), he starts to drool. Duggar sells
Polynesian souvenirs like Pareos from Tahiti, bags, purses, grass
skirts, feather helmets, flower candles, tiki mugs, Hawaiian hula
girls for your car's dashboard and more (Prices: NT$50-NT$900).
The shop is decorated in "island style", and music from
Ernie Cruz, Manao, IZ and the Beamer Brothers plays in the background.
If you're looking for sight seeing spots or water sports, check
with Duggar. He'll point you in the right direction for fun in the
sun. But, remember to respect Kenting's natural environment. As
Duggar says, "aloha aina" ("love the land and keep
it beautiful.") By Karen Schmitt
