| When it
comes to music, Big Mama doesn't mess around. Kaohsiung
resident DJ Ah-Chen, who has been in the local music
scene for over a decade and has spun tunes all over
the city, owns this small, relaxed pub. During this
time he has amassed an enormous and eclectic music collection
containing just about every musical genre you can imagine.
Ah-Chen claims to have 120,000 songs in his collection
(this translates into almost 500 GB of music, enough
to make even the biggest iPod tremble with fear), all
of which are now on hand, waiting for your request.
Big Mama features a wide selection of cocktails (NT$150)
and beers (NT$100), and sells Vodka, Whisky, Gin and
Rum by the bottle (NT$1800 - NT$4500). Big Mama's drink
specialty are its "Sippin' Mama's" (NT$200)
- refreshing cocktails made with fruit wine. They also
have a full menu offering excellent Chinese and Western
style food, all priced under NT$200. Big Mama is located
on WenWu 2nd Lane, the first street on your left (south
