Stepping through the recently opened
doors of Sandy Lounge, it is easy to see why they have
already grown a following amongst the young professionals
and business people of Kaohsiung. Located directly underneath
TGI Fridays, this intimate lounge is decorated in a
minimalistic, modern fashion. Large comfortable couches
surrounding small tables create a cozy, almost private
atmosphere without seeming cramped. The staff and management
are friendly and happy to accommodate groups. From the
single bar they serve Champagne, white and red wines
(NT$250 per glass, NT$1300 per bottle), Cognacs and
spirits (from NT$250 per glass) and a wide selection
of Whiskeys (from NT$250 per glass). Beers (from NT$130)
and cocktails (from NT$180) are also available. The
food consists mostly of bar snacks, but they also serve
cake and cheese platters. They offer a special deal
on 15 year old whiskeys like Glenfiddich where 2 bottles
go for NT$5000, and you can get 3 bottles of selected
Vodkas for NT$6000. Customers should note that there
is a minimum charge of NT$300 per person and a 10% service
charge is added. |
