Exit Lounge, affiliated with Keep Walking Lounge, is a fascinating place to enjoy some interesting cocktails and delicious snacks. You'll be greeted by friendly staff waiting on a very stylishly decorated interior from a very discreet entrance in the alley right next to Dollars Supermarket, on the corner of MingCheng and MinTzu Roads. (When facing the entrance of Dollars, look to your right.) Inside, a narrow walkway runs the length of the lounge from front to back, complete with televisions embedded in the floor and walls, broadcasting fashion shows from the likes of Versace, Julien MacDonald, Gucci and Roberto Cavalli to name just a few.
A full range of snacks and meals are available from NT$120 - NT$330. They are divided into categories. In the Wok-Stir Fried category try the Yu-Nan chicken with chili sauce for NT$120 or the Water Spinach with shrimp sauce for NT$100. And in the Home-Made Hot Food category, try the Deep Fried shrimp balls for NT$200. In the Cold Plate category sample the Iceland deep-water cod liver for NT$200.
As cocktails are their specialty, a variety of unique cocktail names should grab your curiosity. These too are divided into categories. A full range of Vodka flavors (mandrin, raspberry, citron, vanilla and kurant) from the labels of ABSOLUT make the offerings complete. In the 'Expert Area' try the Tunnel, the Mine or the Sting at NT$280 for a single and NT$350 for a double. 'Sofa Cocktails' like the Red, the Purple or the Grey are NT$180. There are also 'Classical' cocktails for NT$180 and 'Creative' cocktails like the Golden Fleece or the Accident and the Jealousy for NT$220. Follow a spiral staircase upstairs and enjoy a private area complete with very large and very stylish sofas for a group of up to 20 or more.
