The Overtime Sports Lounge, which was originally located on RenAi 3rd Street, not far from Kaohsiung City Hall, has been reborn in the northern part of the city. A bigger, better version of the original, the new Overtime has indoor and outdoor seating, a 17-seat main bar, five 27-inch TV screens (for live sports coverage via satellite), plus a large projection TV screen. The menu of quality Western cuisine is being expanded. There are 20 sofas for those who want to relax, tables for those ordering food, and a dance floor and DJs (on weekends) for those with energy. If you'd rather play sports than watch them, there's a pool table, PS2, and dartboards. These distractions will be located near the second, smaller bar. At a later date, the third floor will also be opened to the public. According to the owners, Overtime will offer "the best sports in the city," and it will probably be the only place in Taiwan showing the Ice Hockey World Cup. --By Steven Crook, translated by Iva Huang
