On
the harbor side of the Love River, Capone's is the
newest addition to the Wufu 4th Road nightlife area.
Its location offers relative calm, and the five owners
invested money and effort to give the small venue
a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. Customers have
the choice of sitting at the bar, or at one of four
tables, to enjoy a drink and some good music. There
is a small stage, which functions as an intimate
dance floor or a setting for live music. Drinks are
moderately priced (beers from NT$120, mixed drinks
from NT$180) and there are plans to open a small
kitchen. According to one of the owners, they hope
to create a good atmosphere that will make everyone
feel welcome at Capone's. They also plan to have
theme evenings and are happy to take reservations
for parties. Judging from the turnout on their opening
night in late March, Capone's looks set to evolve
