A taste of Canada lies just off Boai 1st Road in Kaohsiung's San District. Cosmo, the owner of, well, Cosmo's, keeps things running smoothly in the restaurant, which is full of relaxing colors and soft music; they won't even interrupt your conversation while refilling your bottomless coffee. Cosmo's breakfast choices include bacon, eggs, hash browns, omelettes, sandwiches, orange juice, and specialty brews. Sandwiches like Roast Beef with Horseradish or Steak (NT$250), will make you feel right at home. Sides like mashed potatoes, poutine, and salads are also tasty. They make their own beef patty's for their burgers (NT$200-250), which come with toppers like cheddar or Swiss cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and onions. Cosmo's quality steak dinners come with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and beef gravy (NT$380).
