There's a charming new pasta place in town located on CingNian road (close to MinCyuan). This simple eatery offers yummy pastas at delicious prices in a spick-and-span establishment consisting of two floors arranged with smart, orange booths. Pastas (NT$90 to NT$150) come with your choice of pork, bacon, chicken, seafood or vegetarian and can be enjoyed with a cream sauce, pesto sauce, squid ink sauce or the old favorite tomato sauce. Au Gratin and baked rice or noodle dishes are also available in an array of flavors (including curry) and go for NT$120 to NT$150. They serve refreshments such as juice, coffee and tea for NT$30 to NT$50 and offer set meals for an extra NT$50. English speakers should take a closer look at the ordering form as it has English headings. Although the English at Onion Pasta is limited, Randy, the friendly owner is on hand and happy to help foreign customers out.
