Since May first the Japanese and Western Cuisine Restaurant, located on the corner of ZihYou and MingHua Roads, has been chopping and creating for your sushi cravings. Offering a comprehensive menu consisting of Japanese standards like sushi, sashimi and cold noodle dishes along with western selections of salads, pastas and more, the restaurant's provisions will satisfy any appetite. The menu and service is only offered in Chinese; but a showcase of all the fresh ingredients is available for pointing and pantomime. The restaurant has food and prices to accommodate most appetites and budgets. Sets of seven pieces of sashimi average about NT$280, while individual sushi on rice are NT$40-NT$90 per piece. The staff recommends the set meals, NT$268 for lunch and NT$560 and NT$850 sets which are offered all day and include wine. All sets include several dishes and entree options. Servicing three floors, the restaurant offers about ten tables on the ground floor for regular dining service, a second floor consisting of two private rooms that accommodates about 10-15 people and the third floor, which is a meeting room for approximately 40 people.
