If you're looking to "Thai one on," you'd best check out the city's newest Thai restaurant. At Thai Foods, service is buffet style and features a boatload of dishes native to both northern and southern Thailand. A fresh salad and fruit bar and beverage counter, with refills on teas, coffees, smoothies, are also available. Thai Foods prides itself on over 40 different menu items; selections are rotated regularly so you can try something new each time you visit. Mr. Chou, Restaurant Manager, enthusiastically points out that Vietnamese cuisine will soon be added to the buffet fare. In the meantime, enjoy all-you-can-eat of "Deep Fried Thai Shrimp," "Steamed Seafood Combo," "Badon Beef" and other Thai favorites. Reservations are definitely recommended as Southeast Asian cuisine has terrific appeal in southern Taiwan. (Karen Schmitt)
