A wall of windows overlooking the main campus of National Chengkung University, a spacious modern design, a bar back-lit with multicolored lights, and a giant-screen TV make The Edge a potential hit with the young crowd. Recent renovations, which include adding a dance floor, an improved sound system and a DJ booth, have cemented this establishment's position as a new late-night hotspot for foreigners and young trendy locals. Located on the third floor above the 7-Eleven across from the main entrance to the university, The Edge offers a plethora of drinks from Jello Shots (NT$50) and Long Island Iced Tea (NT$250) to a Flaming Amborghini (NT$350) and Absinthe (NT$500). On tap they have Guinness (NT$120) and Becks (NT$150). Most beers are NT$100 per bottle; Fosters on tap is NT$100 per glass, and boilermakers are NT$150.
