English & Chinese menus

Located near Tainan No. 1 Boys Senior High School, and also within walking distance of National Chengkung University, Subber specialises in--you guessed it--subs. There's an impressive range of six-inch and twelve-inch sandwiches, with various combinations of chicken, ham, steak, sausage, turkey, tuna, cheese, and salad. Prices range from NT$75 to NT$180; many options include unlimited soda. Value meals (NT$110 to NT$145) include a six-inch sub, a drink, and a cookie or a packet of potato chips. Customers can choose from five different breads, and also select from a variety of seasonings. If you don't want to drink soda, there's coffee (NT$35) and the soup of the day (NT$35). Much of Subber's business is take-out, but it's also a good place to linger. In addition to a few indoor and outdoor tables downstairs, there's loads of space on the second floor, plus sofas, a smoking area, some newspapers and magazines to read, and a foosball table. You can save time by telephoning in your order before you arrive.
