Goose meat is one of Minsyong's signature products; if you tour the countryside near here, you'll see plenty of goose farms, with thousands of birds gathered around ponds. On Minsyong's "Goose Meat Street" ten restaurants specialize in goose dishes. The meat can be cooked in various ways, and served with rice or hot or cold noodles. Look around and ask before choosing what and where to eat. If you think the goose dishes served here look greasy, think again: Goose meat, in fact, has no more cholesterol than chicken, and more protein than any other meat in the world. Some claim it offers an excellent natural combination: lean and healthy, while providing lots of fuel for the human body. Heping Road is in the center of Minsyong, which is such a small town that even first-time visitors will have no problems finding their way around. If you arrive by train, you'll see the goose eateries as soon as you exit the railway station.
