Tasting The World offers an enticingly broad
selection of Western and Asian dishes. According to chef Chiang
Lee, the most popular dishes with local diners are seafood,
especially shrimps and steamed fish. The salad bar and vegetarian
section are also long-term favorites, and the pastries (prepared
by award-winning pastry chefs) have won accolades. It's mostly
families that come here, plus some large groups on company
outings. The menu is rotated about every three weeks, and
there are occasional special events. Between September 2 and
September 16, Tasting The World will be offering several special
Indonesian dishes, such as satay and curries. Prices will
be very slightly higher than usual: Lunch will be NT$550,
dinner NT$650. After September 16, prices will revert to the
usual NT$520 for lunch and NT$620 for dinner. On weekends,
there's an Afternoon Tea for NT$420; at all times, children
eat for half price.
