 HDelicious Garden Restaurant is one of a number of newly-opened eateries in the fast developing HaiAn/HeWei neighborhood. Located beside the HaiAn Night Market (which is active every Monday and Thursday), this restaurant is--as its name suggests--also a gardening center. Potted plants (priced NT$40 and up), plus various gardening tools and decorations, are sold here. The food menu is extensive: there are two breakfast options (NT$120 and NT$160, available until 10:30 a.m.), and about 40 Taiwanese-style set meals (from NT$150, but most are around NT$250 each). Teas and coffees, if ordered separately, are NT$80 to NT$130; almost every drink is available hot or iced. There's seating indoors and outdoors, on both floors. Parking around here is relatively easy by Tainan standards, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful--if you want to browse the plants without ordering anything to eat or drink, that's fine. --By Steven Crook, translated by Iva Huang
