If you are a big fan of red wine, but can't afford to go to five-star hotels or expensive restaurants, now you have another choice. There's a new lounge bar offering good red wine at great prices near National Cheng Kung University in the eastern part of Tainan City. The interior design is pretty chic--the lighting is neither too strong nor too gloomy. You can lean on the sofa sipping wine, talking, or watching a good movie on the large LCD screen. The lounge also has a KTV system if you enjoy singing. A glass of wine costs from NT$150, a bottle is about NT$1000. The highly-recommemnded cheese bars are NT$168. There's a per-person minimum charge of NT$300. Mr. Lee, one of the owners, says he hopes people in Taiwan can "taste" wine instead of "gorging on it." --Written and translated by Iva Huang
