that stocks half-a-dozen of the company's brews. These
are reasonably priced (from NT$70 for 350 cc), and can
be enjoyed with food in a beer garden setting.
LA FACE RESTAURANT & BAR (see article on
page 19 for address and more information) also stocks
TMBC beer, for drinking on the premises, or takeaway.
All drinks are 40-percent off when bought for takeaway.
IN TAINAN: Long-established WILLY'S SECOND BASE
BAR & GRILL (321, JianKang Rd., Sec. 2; tel (06)
291-1050; open from 6 pm) has been selling local draft
microbrews for almost as long as they have been available.
TMBC drinks are also available at

HANGOUT (128, GungYuan Rd., 1F-32; tel: (06) 220-0172;
open from 7 pm), near Tainan Train Station.
There
are several microbreweries currently operating in Taiwan,
with some exclusively operating as brew pubs, others
exclusively packaging their beer for wholesale or retail,
