Passing along Chung Shan N. Rd.,
Sec. 5 at night, you'll spot a bright and elegant store through
the green trees known as "Cha For Tea". "Nature",
important to the cult of tea, is equally important to the
shop, which includes a green bamboo tree area inside. It makes
a great spot to enjoy tea in-doors. Outside, 20 seats are
lined on the sidewalk, also surrounded by groves of bamboo
with additional shade from trees on the road. The menu (in
Chinese and English) offers various kinds of tea-based drinks
- traditional tea (Oolong, Jasmine and etc.), or cold and
hot milk tea, fruit tea, frappe ice, health tea, plum tea
and even oil tea. Desserts and side dishes are available,
too. Side dishes (approximately NT$80) range from Lung Ching
shu-mei to Green Tea mango moose. Tea sets (approximately
NT$220) include rice, noodles, fish, dumplings and more.
