   Mei-Lun Park, located next to the Astronomy Hall in Shi-Lin, is the first scientific theme park in Taiwan. It offers many educational entertaining facilities for children in four themed areas. The most popular is "Water World", where kids learn basic mechanical principles of submarines, floating flower cars, washing machines and water pumps. In "Wave World", kids gain insight into sound waves through reed pipes and other wind instruments. The "Children¡¦s Scientific Play City" provides animal puzzles, nine-square games and a number turntable. And, a walk through the "Healthy Pedestrian Precinct" encourages a primary understanding of mathematics. --By Selena Huang
